Extend the RCI brand into the mobile market.
Exploration
RCI wanted to expose their brand to the mobile marketplace and NF was chosen as the technology partner to make it happen. Providing both tailored experiences for existing RCI members as well as general information and media access to potential members, the app needed to create a compelling experience regardless of the relationship the user had with the company.
Solution
Over the course of the last two years, we've developed a series of mobile modules, both native and hybrid in their execution, all contained within a parent RCI application, launched across the three major mobile platforms (iOS, Android, BlackBerry). The application modules range from simple account alerts for members, to mobile resort directories of RCI locations, to an advanced location-based vacation tool called SnapBook, which allows anyone to create shareable vacation albums and populate them in real time with photos, videos, text, audio notes and geo-tags from their devices.
