Create a mobile-focused website for RCI.com, exposing the core suite of account features to members on various types of devices.
Exploration
The mobile version of RCI.com needed to provide mobile users with a uniquely streamlined experience tailored to the needs of users on the go, while also integrating with RCI's incredibly complex existing online services.
Solution
Working hand in hand with RCI's services team, we built a lightweight and flexible Java Oracle and JavaScript-based solution that allows RCI members on their mobile devices to search for vacations, hold vacations, manage deposits, and view offers and account information. Visitors can also browse the resort directory and watch RCI TV. Given that the existing RCI services were put in place for a more robust online experience, we instituted a data proxy to streamline data for use on mobile devices.
