Deliver a best-in-class iPhone app experience powered by the web content and services of Mobile Nations' iOS enthusiast site, iMore.
Exploration
Modeled with the goal of a truly native experience in mind, the iMore app needed to feel as at home on the iPhone as did Apple's own first-party applications. Great care was put into the UX design to ensure that the app was not simply a shell for republishing existing web content, but an enhanced experience for the readers and fans of the site.
Solution
We crafted an elegant news reading application using customized CSS and native views, as well as a built-in podcast client for listening to the iMore shows and other Mobile Nations podcasts. Readers can download shows and listen while keeping up on news and story comments, as well as submit news, photos and stories to the site.
