Challenge

Create a dynamic web presentation for traditional college admissions viewbook, celebrating the features and diversity of the school, featuring a variety of media types.

Exploration

In order to make the transition from static content to something more interactive, we determined that the best way to showcase the content without becoming laborious to the user would be to create a scrolling layer of information atop a clean and engaging site backdrop.

Solution

Utilizing parallax scrolling to create a dimensional depth to the content, the Dean site is both visually appealing, while maintaining informational accessibility, and affords the user two distinct methods of browsing: either a casual scrolling to travel the length of the content, or the ability to quickly jump through the sections with a pleasantly accelerated motion.
